What is the dress code?

Black tie encouraged. We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women to wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress.

How can I get to the Yale Club from a New York City airport?
Answer
The Yale Club is located across the street from Grand Central Terminal. Hotel blocks are near Grand Central as well. Here are some tips for getting to the Grand Central area. You can fly into LaGuardia (LGA), Newark (EWR) or JFK (JFK). In all cases, you can of course take a cab/Uber/Lyft. Here are some other options: - From LGA, take a cab or bus from LGA to Harlem/125th, then take Metro-North or the subway (4/5/6) to Grand Central. - From Newark, you can take NJ Transit to Penn Station, or the Airport Express to Port Authority, and then walk/cab/subway to Grand Central. - From JFK, you can take the Air Train to the Jamaica Station, and then get on the LIRR to Grand Central. (Note that if you want to take a cab/Uber/Lyft from JFK, you have to take a free bus to the cab/Uber/Lyft pickup zone. You can not walk there.)

How can I get to the Yale Club if I'm in CT, NY, or NJ?

- Since Yale Club is near Grand Central, the Metro-North is very convenient for those coming from NY (Hudson Line) or CT (New Haven Line) - NJ residents can take NJ Transit to Penn Station, and then walk/cab/subway to Grand Central - From Philly/Baltimore, Amtrak is a good option. How can I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Transportation will be provided for the wedding party and seniors. Options for others: - By car (easiest): Share a cab/uber/lyft with a few people. We will provide $10 Lyft gift cards for those using this option. Codes will be provided at the ceremony. - By subway, option 1 (longer walk, but goes directly to Grand Central): Walk to the subway station at 77th and Lexington, and take the 6 (Brian's favorite subway line) to Grand Central.
