If you're staying at one of the recommended hotels, take the short walk to Trolley-off St. Charles and take the Trolley up to Tulane & St. Charles. Gorgeous place to walk around and take in the beautiful historic houses. The trolley is $1.50 and is a great way to see a different part of New Orleans! One of my favorite things to do!
This is definitely the New Orleans experience you think of when you picture the city. Pretty crazy but a must see!
This portion of magazine street is actually a few miles down from our venue and where we will be staying-but fear not! The trolley will take you up there and it is such a fun area to explore! If you're looking for cute shops, or restaurants you will find plenty up this way! We recommend taking trolley to "St. Charles at Eight Street" then walking over to magazine.
Tour where they create the floats for Mardi gras parades!
For some amaaazzing brunch! This is a few miles away from the venue in the lower garden district but that trolley will take you up there and you wont regret it!
The trolley that can get you to the garden district! (and referenced Magazine street area)
We specifically recommend 30°/-90° and Bamboula's. There's also a great art market (referenced below)
Grab a table in the courtyard to enjoy the great atmosphere and a nice beverage OR head inside to the piano bar for a guaranteed great time! The pianos start at 6pm Mon-Thurs & 2pm Fri-Sun (it was packed when we went in at 4 on a Friday, SO FUN)
Crab cakes & chicken/waffles YUM!!!
Small art market with local artists!
