It started with a "Hello There" gif of Obi Wan Kenobi. We chatted about ice cream and work while deciding to go on a first date. I asked him if he wanted to hangout over the weekend, he was busy moving. Psh.

A mother's day like no other. Ice cream from Gelati Celesti! While waiting in line, it occurred to Brandon he had decided to wear clean pants.. meaning his wallet was left sitting in his other dirty pants at home. They say chivalry is dead, but this man put on clean pants. Then talking and walking around Second and Charles for 5 hours. It was hard to part at the end of the night, so much so that we both got home around 11pm. Brandon missed out on Chinese.. he still hasn't forgotten or forgiven.

You know when you just click with someone? Well Amanda was spending almost every night at Brandon's place. While driving back to his place one day we had slowly talked ourselves into moving in together. Finding the opportunity on 2/14/2019 we submitted the applications and were approved to rent our first place together. We moved in on 03/31/2019, this was our first home we experienced many memories in.

While Brandon made plans to propose in the Fall of 2020, something occurred that year that changed his plans. Not sure what happened. Now comes the end of Summer 2022, and Brandon is back in action for a proposal! Getting the help of his mom and aunt, he had picked out a ring she will hopefully like. Who knows. Now it is not about how to propose, but when? Her birthday? No, she makes many plans. Vacation! Our vacation to Myrtle Beach, November 21st, 2022. After a wonderful day of Broadway at the Beach and the hope of romance in the air, Brandon was called out by Amanda. "Why is your heart beating so fast?". While standing at the top floor of the hotel, Brandon popped the question! While crying, Amanda said OF COURSE! Afterwards, they got Cookout for dinner.
