Can I bring my pets?

Answer

Unfortunately, our furry friends have to stay home and cannot be at the wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, semi-formal or dressy casual. Women can wear dresses (no shorter than mid-thighs), slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit As for men, opt for a dress shirt, dress shorts or slacks, with the option to wear a tie. *Please No White* Bridesmaid will be wearing: pearl pink, dusty sage, dusty rose and sea glass blue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many +1s you have. If you have any, you are welcome to bring that allotted number of guests. If you don’t have any guests, please reach out to the couple for approval.

Can I smoke?

Answer

The venue has a zero tolerance policy for any type of smoking including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes, joints, etc. If caught smoking on the property, you will be issued an $850 fine.

Can I use marijuana?

Answer

This venue has a zero tolerance policy on marijuana of any kind. Please note that this venue is an actual high school and that it is against the law to bring any federally illegal substance, such as marijuana, onto the property. Also, note that the beach is federally owned property as well and marijuana is also illegal in these areas too. Failure to obey could result in legal trouble.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome and will have a designated area to relax in at the venue. Your rsvp will have your allotted guest count which children can be apart of. Please do not bring any children if they are not apart of your rsvp. If you have any questions or requests, please reach out to the couple. Please note, if your child becomes disruptive during any part of the event, that you will be asked to escort them to a different area. Children are also to be under supervision at all times and stay seated during major events such as the ceremony, first dances, and speeches.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking across the street from the ceremony and reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at the time stated on the rsvp.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please refer to the hotel tab for all of our recommendations for hotels in the area. For more budget friendly options, there are hotels in Traverse city as well, which is about a 30-40 minute drive from the venue. There are also lots of rental homes in the area as well.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered at this time. Because we have lived together for some time, we are blessed to have all we need. We are asking for a cash donation to go towards our honeymoon fund instead.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Because there aren’t many hotels in the area, we will not be having a shuttle since not everyone will book at the same hotel.
