It was the summer of 2015, and Amanda was scrolling through her phone and landed on Tinder. She saw a boy pictured in Italy, the same place she studied for a summer in college. They both swipe right and start talking about where they studied and visited. The boy (spoiler alert- it was Daniel) asked Amanda to dinner, and she agreed to meet much to the stress of her roommates ("what if he's a murderer?!"). That night, Amanda showed up 15 minutes late, swearing that she was never is that behind schedule. Dan sweetly accepted it- as he still does. They had dinner, which turned into drinks, which turned into walking around and talking until the early hours of the morning. Six years, a home, and two dogs later we are getting hitched! We can't wait to celebrate our love and life with our friends and family this October in Birmingham.
In light of the COVID 19 pandemic, Amanda and Daniel ask that all guests are vaccinated and receive their final dose at least two weeks prior to our ceremony. This will protect our family, friends and children who would like to attend, but are unable to be vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please ensure a negative test prior to attending to limit the spread of COVID 19. Masks will be available at the venue and strongly encouraged. The situation in Alabama is dire with cases growing daily. Please protect yourself and others. Our reception venue will be at 30-40% capacity with excellent air filtration. However, if you are no longer able to attend we fully understand. Please let us know via text. The ceremony will be available via livestream if you cannot attend- a link will be posted here in early October. Thank you and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all soon!
