Alfred has been everything Amanda could have asked for out of a big brother. His support has been unwavering since the day he visited Amanda at the hospital when she was a newborn and asked if they could "buy her and take her home." Alfred has paved the way for Amanda through school and into adulthood. He's set a great example as a spouse and a parent. Amanda hopes she can live up to his example.

He's the man responsible for it all. Chris has been Amanda's friend since the St. Olaf days. Chris and Carlos met through work and became friends and confidants, as well. One fateful evening, Chris invited them both out for chicken wings and the rest is history. Carlos and Amanda know that they are extremely lucky to count Chris and his wife, Jenn, among their best friends and biggest supporters.

Monica has been the consummate big sister. Always supportive, encouraging, and willing to lend an ear to her little brother. She has always stepped up and helped out her brother through good times and bad. Whether it’s emotional over eating Korean bbq in Los Angeles, or Carlos taking her to Paisley Park and trying to push her into the purifying waters of lake Minnetonka, they have been side to side to take care of each other. As such, she stands by her brother once again as he starts a wonderful new chapter in his life.
