We can't wait to share our special weekend with you!

They say that love can happen anywhere and that love can happen in a split second. Well...in our situation that split second was pretty accurate as that's about how long it took for a pair of thumbs to swipe right. Shout out Tinder! It took about a week of chatting before the stars aligned and we were able to meet in person as Alyx was traveling down to Temecula for a weekend where Trevor was currently living. We had planned to meet up for a hike on Saturday but by the time Friday evening rolled around we realized we couldn't wait any longer and that Friday evening we decided to make a trip down to the beach. Little to Trevor's knowledge Alyx would hype herself up for this first date with a quick shot (or two) of vodka before jumping into the car. We rocked out to emo night beats blasting Blink 182, All Time Low, My Chemical Romance and any other angsty music you can think of as we made it down to Oceanside pier where we would spend the next few hours chatting and getting to know each other while watching the dark waves crash on the sandy shore. This is where we would share our first kiss on the beach a bit after midnight before heading back to Temecula. Mission success. The next day as scheduled we would begin the first of countless hikes with one another taking a trail on the Santa Rosa Plateau with a bottle of wine in the bag. At the end of the hike we would polish off the bottle laughing and joking with each other as our connection continued to blossom. That evening Trevor began to realize the end of this incredible weekend would quickly be coming to an end and with a leap of unwavering faith and sheer braveness he popped the question for Alyx to be his girlfriend after a short 36 hours of true acquaintance. She said yes. Mission Success. Just two weeks later we were laying on Alyx's bed in Long Beach where the first "I love you" was issued and the rest is history. They say love can happen anywhere and at anytime. I suppose for us that love came at the perfect moment. Thank you for joining us this weekend to celebrate.
