There are several versions of how Adam and I met for the first time. I will just give you my version as I remember it. We met when for the first time, we were out with friends. Before we went our separate ways for the evening, Adam asked me if I wanted to meet him for breakfast the next morning. We exchanged phone numbers, and I told him he could call me the next morning. I was not sure if Adam would call me, but he did. So we met at a gas station, and he followed me to Bob Evans. At this time, he did not know I had children. I was pretty sure my mom van would scare him away. In our conversation over breakfast, he asked me if I had kids. He did not flinch or blink an eye when I told him I had four girls. I was pretty sure, that would keep me from having another date, especially since he had no kids. As we were leaving Bob Evans, he told me he wanted to see me again. I was surprised but did not show it. Two weeks later we had a date to the Columbus Zoo to see the zoo lights. We went to the casino, shopping and out to eat before the zoo. I knew he was a keeper when he brought hand warmers for me to wear during our walk that winter evening at the zoo. Adam's Version: You will have to ask him hahahaha!!!

Adam asked my dad for permission to marry me. Then, Adam asked my oldest daughter if it was okay that he married me. He took Isabella shopping to pick out the engagement ring for me. She kept her mouth shut and never said anything to me. I am very proud of her for not telling me the secret. She knew about it for a couple of months. When the time came for him to ask me, he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. He then asked the girls if he could be a part of their life forever. Of course, we all said YES!!!
