We met at Hi and Dry in Tremont, OH, for drinks and a night of trivia. After drawing blanks on names for our team we finally settled on 'AA' for Alyssa and Anthony. Within those first few minutes we already had an inside joke when we realized that a team called 'AA' playing trivia in a bar was a bit of a questionable choice. While the trivia team chemistry may not have resulted in a win, the individual chemistry definitely did. After an evening of laughs and fun we walked home, hand-in-hand, ready to plan our next date.

We went to our favorite Sunday brunch spot, Pier W, in Lakewood, OH. The spread never disappoints and the ambiance makes it a beautiful and romantic location. We enjoyed our mimosas, coffee and food while looking out over Lake Erie toward the Cleveland skyline as we reminisced on some of our favorite experiences over the past 18 months. When we finished our meals, we went up one level to the balcony outside that overlooked the restaurant from above. After enjoying the views and each others' embrace the timing felt right - it was truly an amazing experience and we were both lost in the moment as the proposal happened and the ring came out. To top it off, friends were hiding nearby to capture it all on camera and video. We went back home and celebrated with our families and friends for the rest of the day getting our first taste of what happily-ever-after felt like!
