We adore your little ones, but our celebration will be adults-only. If you're traveling with kids, we encourage you to stay in our room block and explore the Eastern Shore! For those needing childcare, we can give contact information for trusted sitters available for in-room care at the Hyatt in Dewey. Please reach out with any questions.

Although October 2024 was beautiful, we cannot predict the 2025 weather. Prepare for mild fall weather during the daytime, and chilly temperatures at night. Average temperature in October: 61.4°F. Average High: 70°F Average Low: 57.1 °F Prepare for lower night temps due to wind on the beach

Hotel guests may park at the venue in the garage. There is free side-street parking for non-hotel guests in October during the off season (September 16th - May 14th). Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are right next to each other.

Please wear black to the ceremony. Formal/black-tie optional: Wear your most formal attire (evening gown & tux) OR sport coat with tie and cocktail dress. Black-tie optional typically means tux optional. See the attire page for examples.

Our wedding ceremony will be outside on the deck (weather permitting), but our cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony! You are more than welcome to take pictures after the ceremony, including cocktail hour and the dinner reception.

There will be cocktails & hors d'oeuvres immediately following the ceremony. There will be a plated dinner during the reception and a late night bite at the end.

Check out the travel page! All events will be held at the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach, DE. This is the recommended hotel to stay. This hotel also offers condos. These are not included in the room block, but can be booked using the hyatt website, Airbnb, or Vrbo.

Condos with up to 4 bedrooms, full bathrooms, and kitchens, are available on the Hyatt Place Dewey website. They can also be found on Airbnb & VRBO. Condos are not included in the room block.
