We're getting married!!

Let’s bring it back to November, 2017 when Aly and Brett were both swiping on an app called “J-Swipe”. They both swiped right and began messaging each other. They chatted every day for two weeks when Brett finally asked Aly for her phone number to take the conversation off of the app. Aly gave him her phone number, but never answered his text message saying “Hey this is Brett. It’s nice to hear from you! How are you?” Like many relationships on mobile apps, that seemed to be the end. Until… Fast forward to August, 2019. Aly and Brett reconnected once again, only instead of on an app, this time it was on Match.com. (Shout out to match!!!) They instantly connected with each other. Aly had no idea that she previously matched with Brett, but Brett had a feeling that they had matched before. This time, they spoke for a full month on the website before Aly (again) gave her phone number to Brett. When Aly received a text message from Brett, she noticed that this was not in fact the first message she had ever received from “Brett J Swipe.” In true Aly fashion, she was not shy about this and responded to Brett’s innocent text message by saying, “I think we spoke before.” At a loss for words, Brett did not respond for five hours, when he finally and courageously responded, and the two have not looked back since. As fate would have it, Aly and Brett connected for the second and final time. From there, Aly and Brett knew that they both felt something special. Because of their improbable and rather unique beginnings, Aly and Brett believe that everything truly does happen for a reason. Aly and Brett are so excited to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family at The Royalton on the Greens in Melville, NY on March 23, 2024!
