We’re getting married!

They say it takes a village. We agree. For us, we had Mom’s wanting us to be happy and in good relationships. In talking with her hairdresser, we all confide in them don’t we, Jill’s Mom mentioned she wished her daughter would find someone wonderful. After telling her a little about me the hairdresser said “I think I may know someone”. Turned out Mom’s hairdresser grew up next door to Jeff and she passed him my information. Jeff called and we set up our first date at Tornado Cafe. We spent four hours sharing stories of our lives. We’ve been together ever since. And here we are twenty years later. Our relationship has always been slow and steady. We take pleasure in simple things as long as we are doing them together. Jeff always says “we do life well together”. We didn’t know how true that statement would be until Covid rocked our world late 2021. What might have destroyed other relationships solidified ours. Our marriage is the outward sign to our family and friends of what we’ve known for quite some time. We are partners, lovers, and best friends and we intend to spend the rest of our lives together.
