We're Getting Married

On February 8, 2013, it was a cold winter’s night when both Alonzo and Rohey found themselves at the same lounge in Washington, DC. From afar, Alonzo noticed Rohey profiling in the VIP section with Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child (yea, that Michelle). After that initial glance, Alonzo immediately said to his friend with intrigue, "Who is this African Queen? I must know her!" Fortunately, Rohey looked over in Alonzo’s direction and the two locked eyes. Rohey then subtlety motioned Alonzo to come to the VIP section so that they could have a formal and proper introduction. And for the rest of the night the couple danced, talked, and laughed, both leaving the night thinking that this could be something special. Years of casual dating and getting to know the ins and out of one another, the relationship grew full of love, respect, and a deep understanding of each other's wants and needs. Traveling to new places, hanging out with friends, enjoying each other's culture.
