Adam and Alondra met online on a dating website called CatholicMatch in August 2021. After exchanging social media, they began to chat every day until they met in person exactly two weeks later. On their first date, they ate dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings in Racine. They decided to go on a second date a couple of weeks later, but that date happened to be Alondra's nephew's fourth birthday, and she had promised to keep him occupied while her sister Alex set up his party. Adam and her nephew Mark hit it off instantly, and Alondra loved seeing Adam interact with him. They have been best buddies ever since. After four dates, Adam and Alondra made it official on October 2, 2021. From there, the rest is history. Adam and Alondra’s relationship has grown healthy. They took trips together to Texas, Up North, Wisconsin Dells, and Colorado. One thing that felt so important in this relationship was spending so much time with Alondra’s nephews which prepared them for future parenthood. After being together for two and a half years, Adam thought of proposing to Alondra. Five days before the proposal, Alondra took a mini vacation to Virginia to visit a friend for Memorial Day weekend. The day after Memorial Day when Alondra returned from Virginia, Adam picked up her up at the airport in Chicago. After getting picked up, they agreed on going to Navy Pier just to explore. Then while viewing Lake Michigan, Adam bent down on one knee then popped the question, and of course Alondra said “YES.” While Alondra was in Virginia, she already had the feeling that Adam was going to propose to her. We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives with one another and see what God has in store for us and we cannot wait for our new chapter then to celebrate with all of you!
