Yes, you read that right. For those of you who don't know; the couple met on a dating app! Jordan was living in New York City and Rick was living in Philadelphia. She swiped right on Rick on Bumble about a month after he had swiped right on her. He told her that he remembers seeing her profile and thinking he never had a chance. Well, he was almost right. After they had matched on Bumble, Jordan didn’t put much effort into starting a conversation with him because she saw that he was living in Philadelphia. (She assumed they swiped on each other when he was visiting New York.) So, she sent a simple, “hey what’s up” and he sent back with the world’s worst pick up line…."On a scale from 1 to 999-999-9999, what are my chances of guessing your phone number?” Jordan went around her entire office asking for advice on what to say back to him and they all told her not to respond!! Thank goodness she did because the rest, as they say…is history. The couple met for lunch on Mother's Day of 2017 and they have been attached at the hip ever since!

Jordan planned to spend Thanksgiving at her sister Colleen's house in Pelham, New York. Rick had football practice Wednesday evening (or so Jordan thought!) so he told her he would drive up Thanksgiving morning. Jordan's mom flew in Wednesday night and the family decided to go out on Colleen's back patio to drink some wine and catch up. Jordan was the last one to walk out of the back door and there was Rick! He was standing under a big tree that was strung with lights and rose petals all over the ground. Jordan slowly walked over as Rick got down on one knee!
