Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Think garden party -- suits / sports coats / dress pants for the men and below-the-knee or full length dresses for the ladies. Please no jeans/tennis shoes! Florals and pastel colors are encouraged! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside with an indoor reception to follow. Neutrals / white / tans are reserved for the wedding party so unless you'd like to match, we recommend choosing another color!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While in a perfect world, we would love to have all our friends and their lovers join us. However, due to budgetary constraints (thanks medical school) we were not able to offer plus ones to everyone. If you received a plus one, it will be noted on your RSVP.

When is the RSVP deadline?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5:15pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to find a seat!

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The Terrace Club has multiple large lots to accommodate all of our parking needs. For those unable to climb stairs, there is a drop off location at the front doors of the venue.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love all your children, but we have decided to only include kids in our immediate family at our celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting our guests refrain from using phones or cameras as we say our "I do's". We have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us, so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos or videos as you like!

I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

Please indicate any dietary restrictions on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly!

Answer

We will be serving a selection of hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by a chicken dinner for the reception. If you have dietary restrictions or need accommodations, please note these on your RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

During cocktail hour, we are excited to offer a build-your-own ranch water, an Austin, Texas staple, along with a selection of beer and wine. During the reception the bar will open up to include a selection of local spirits as well.
