Forsyth Park
Forsyth Park is a beautiful area to take a stroll on a nice day and is also a historic location in Savannah. Bring a picnic blanket and an activity (a good book, soccer ball, frisbee, corn hole, etc.) to really get the best experience. The Forsyth Farmer's Market is also wonderful and is open from 9am-1pm every Saturday.
Broughton Street
Some of the best shopping in the Southern states can be found on Broughton Street in historic downtown Savannah, Georgia. Though the street is just a few blocks long, it's packed with an eclectic mix of antique shops, thrift stores, upscale boutiques, and national retail chains. The Paris Market and Leopold's Ice Cream are two favorite spots on Broughton Street.
