We met in high school and were just friendly acquaintances throughout. After both finishing four years of college at different universities, a mutual friend of ours knew we'd be a perfect match! She worked her magic and reconnected us via social media. We talked for a few days over the phone, then went on our first date, and now here we are...planning our wedding almost 2 years later!

We had Marcum family pictures scheduled at a beautiful farm in Franklin, TN. Landon used this opportunity to let the photographers know he was planning to propose. Toward the end of the afternoon, when Landon and I were having a few pictures taken of just the two of us, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course I said yes!!! That was the first (and biggest) surprise of the day. Then, when I turned around, I saw surprise number two: my family snuck up behind us and was there to celebrate. Last, after all of the hugs, happy tears, and excitement, Landon had arranged a little surprise engagement photo shoot with the photographers. We ended all of this with a nice dinner with both of our families. It was the most perfect, joyful day!

We are so excited to create our wedding day story! It will be a special day, and we look forward to celebrating it with so many of our friends and family. We hope it will be a sweet day to remember forever!
