DO I NEED A PASSPORT? Yes! We recommend checking expiration dates on existing passports, and applying for a new passport at least 6 months before travel to ensure a smooth travel day. ARE THERE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS TO/FROM THE RESORT/AIRPORT? Ground transportation is included when you book through our room block. You can schedule transportation to and from Cancun International Airport with our travel coordinator, Melinda Shelley. You can find her contact information on the "Travel" page of our website. DO I NEED TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE? Travel insurance is optional. If you are unsure, please discuss it with our travel coordinator to determine the best option for you. If you do select travel insurance, if you need to cancel your travel plans for any reason prior to your originally scheduled departure time, you'll receive a refund or future travel credit (depending on the plan you purchase) with the exception of the cost of your plan.

WHERE ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED? Our special day will take place at the Dreams Natura Resort & Spa located in Cancun, Mexico. All wedding festivities will take place at various venues within the resort. We will provide a map and itinerary at check-in with further details on where each event will take place. IS THE RESORT ALL-INCLUSIVE? Yes! Dreams is an all-inclusive resort, meaning all food and drinks (including alcohol) are included in your room rate. HAVE YOU RESERVED A ROOM BLOCK AT THE RESORT? Yes, and we’ve partnered with an incredible travel coordinator to assist you with all of your booking needs. Please see our "Travel" page here on this website for her contact information. DO I NEED TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT AT TIME OF BOOKING? No! When you reserve through our room block, you are only required to put down a deposit of $50/person at booking. The final payment dates are as follows: *For those who do not purchase travel insurance, final payment is due 09/25/2024. *For those who do purchase travel insurance, final payment is due 11/24/2024. HOW LONG CAN I STAY AT THE RESORT BEFORE/AFTER THE WEDDING? Our group rates begin on 2/04/2024. The group rate requires a stay of at least three nights and no more than seven nights. If you want to stay longer than seven nights, please contact our travel coordinator as the hotel will sometimes honor the room rates subject to availability. CAN I FIND OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS? Yes! While we would love to have all of our guests stay at Dreams Natura so we can enjoy the week together, we want everyone to do what is best for them. There are multiple other resorts, hotels, and Airbnbs nearby. Please be aware that if you decide to stay elsewhere, there will be a fee to come onsite for the wedding festivities. Please contact our travel coordinator for more information. WHAT DATES WILL THE BRIDE AND GROOM BE AT THE RESORT? We plan to arrive on February 4th and stay until February 10th.

HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE ANY UPDATED INFORMATION AND/OR CHANGES BEFORE THE WEDDING? We will be updating our wedding website with details and additional information as it becomes available to us. In the event of any major changes, we will communicate by email and/or text. WHAT TYPE OF FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE SERVED DURING THE WEDDING EVENTS? We are currently working with our events team to determine what food and drink options will be made available. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP as we want everyone to have the necessary options. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE? We ask that you wear beach semi-formal. Men, please wear closed toe dress shoes; suit jacket welcomed, but not required. Women, we will not be on the sand so feel free to wear heels if desired. Please dress according to the weather, as we will be outside and want all of our guests to be comfortable. CAN I BRING MY KIDS? Dreams Natura is a kid-friendly resort with lots of fun activities, including a kids club! You are welcome to bring your children for the trip itself, however, due to limited numbers, we are only able to extend the wedding invite to children of close family and our wedding party. The resort does provide on-site childcare that can be prearranged for the ceremony and reception for an additional price. For pricing and more information, please contact our travel coordinator.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE? Average high temperatures during February are a pleasant 84 degrees with average lows around 67F – with these low temperatures being experienced mostly around sunrise.
