In 2017, a boy from PA and a girl from SC both accepted new jobs in La Crosse, Wisconsin as part of a rotational program. This bold leap into unknown territory led to a close knit friend group of aspiring young professionals. Through constant proximity, they found themselves wandering off from the group in increasingly personal conversations. It was clear they liked each other, but the specter of a cross-country move kept a damper on their budding relationship. With Dan moving to Charlotte not two months after their initial spark, and Allison's future assignments a mystery, was it worth an attempt at long distance? With their status in limbo, Allison hitched a ride with Dan to the Carolinas to attend her sister's wedding - new and improved plus one in tow. It was a test for both parties; would Dan like the family, and more importantly, would the family like Dan? A night packed with family testimonials for Allison affirmed what he already knew, he had a catch. A week apart after the wedding, however, confirmed two things: Distance would be hard, BUT, not nearly as hard as giving up on the connection and friendship they'd built. After a 6 month stint of long distance, the young couple's wish came true, Allison would be moving to NC for her next rotations. 5 moves, 4 jobs, and a new puppy later, the happy couple now lives in their new house in Nashville with their two doggins, Stanley and Dexter. The future is bright, and they can't wait to see what comes next!
