Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If you are an out of town guest and need accommodations for your child, please let us know!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

To go along with our vision for our day, our dress code is Semi-Formal/ Cocktail Attire. Suits with ties and gowns/ cocktail dresses are welcome. This is an opportunity to dress your best! Please no jeans or casual wear.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible, but due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones that were not listed on the invitation.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5PM, please allow time for parking and getting seated. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior.

Do you have any hotel blocks?

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be taking place outside over looking the mountains (Peaks of Otter). Cocktail hour will take place under the pavilion/ on the porch at the barn, reception is to follow inside the barn.

What if I have a question or special request?

What is the alcohol situation?

Answer

Our venue has a very strict no liquor policy. Please refrain from ANY liquor while on the premises. We will be serving beer, wine, seltzer and signature drinks!

Can I leave my vehicle at the venue?

Answer

Our number one request is that there is no drinking and driving. If you need to leave your car at the venue, please pick it up at 9AM Sunday, April 30th. Any cars left beyond 9AM may be towed.

What if I missed the RSVP date or I suddenly can’t make it?

Answer

We have many, many loved ones- more than our venue allows! If you RSVP’d yes and are unable to come, please let us know so that we can extend an invitation to someone else. If you missed the RSVP date or RSVP’d no please do not attend without prior approval. We want to make certain we respect the venue policies and have the correct headcount for catering.
