Bride
In the before (Connor) time, Allison could be found singing her heart out at concerts, trying to find the best bottomless mimosa brunch in Seattle, daydreaming about a puppy, and spending a little too much time traveling (both for work and play). Since they met, things haven't changed so much as they've evolved for the better - Connor's a designated concert buddy who's expanded her music scope, she's decided the best bottomless brunch is at Super Six near their townhome, daydreaming about a puppy is now daydreaming about a second puppy, and long flights now have someone to watch movies with. She's overjoyed to have you all here to celebrate the wonderful love and life she's built with Connor and hopes she estimated the right amount of wine to order for the wedding.
Groom
Before Connor met Allison in Seattle, he was a bit of a homebody - he loved staying in and playing videogames, going out every once and a while for a concert or a house party. After moving into a wonderful house in Madison Valley that all began to change, especially after meeting the girl who would become the love of his life. Between brewery hopping, hosting over-the-top dinner parties, and travelling the world, Allison has taught Connor how to keep his social calendar full. Now Allison and Connor have built a beautiful home for themselves in Columbia City, where Connor has been able to amass a silly collection of houseplants and teach a 23-pound loaf of fur how to snuggle. He's so happy to be able to share this amazing evening with all of you and hopes you have as much fun as him.
Ring Bearer
Allison and Connor met Olive right before Thanksgiving 2018, after a year-long search to find the perfect puppy. It was love at first sight. Olive may be smol but she has a big heart, a loud bark, and is excited for the matrimony of her pawrents.
Ring Bearer Bearer
Austin is Allison's little brother and he is definitely the cooler and better dressed of the two. He's been her very longest friend even though they get on each other's nerves sometimes and introduced her to one of the best bands ever: The Glitch Mob. They were fortunate enough to spend two years in Boston together and Allison is so happy to have her brother in Seattle for the year. If you've got any art or music questions, ask Austin. He'll be happy to chat.
Officiant
Melissa has had the unique opportunity of knowing Allison and Connor individually before they were AllisonAndConnor. Melissa met Allison in college but their friendship really solidified when they became roommates in Seattle, enjoying wine, nights out dancing, prosciutto in pajamas, and the best impulse purchase ever: a lap table for eating in bed. Melissa and Connor met through mutual friends and eventually they bonded over a love for brewskis and hot sauces. Their friendship was further strengthened (no pun intended) at the gym as they made sure the other never lost a toe from a dropped weight and never skipped abs. Not the type to back down from a challenge, Melissa and Connor are still finding increasingly creative ways to ice each other. Allison and Connor are forever grateful to Melissa for bringing them together and are honored to have her marry them. If you need to find her after the ceremony, just look for a group with tequila, she'll be close by.
Bridesmaid
Allison and Ali met on a Microsoft shuttle as interns and immediately bonded over their shared name, college town, and job. After also sharing an address, an intern social program, several EDM shows and festivals, and a ton of sushi dates, Ali and Allison occasionally find the need to explain that they are definitely not the same person. In case you need help telling the difference, though, it's more likely that you'll find Ali doing the running man and laughing far too loudly on the dance floor.
Best Man
When two of Connor's friends moved out of his house, Connor needed to find someone to fill the space in lease. He assembled a list of qualified candidates - but none of them were available, so on a whim he decided to take a chance on a brand new friend, Noah. This was the start of a friendship full of entertaining and fiscally responsible shenanigans. From discussing the finer points of squat form, to swapping esoteric rock albums while making tinfoil pineapples, any time with Connor and Noah is guaranteed to be a bizarre time. In his spare time, Noah loves defying Connor's expectations, and plans to do so by not getting lost on the way to the wedding.
Bridesman
Nick and Allison met during college during a cold, Massachusetts winter through a programming class (CS50) they both had enrolled in. After getting to know each other and hanging out with mutual friends, they could always be found together in action doing homework; falling asleep in each other’s rooms with red, fuzzy blankets; raging at birthday and weekend parties; and the usual shenanigans college students end up getting themselves up to. Their friendship was cemented while living together in Seattle as summer Microsoft interns, thus starting the yearly tradition of Nick visiting Seattle to spend time with Allison, the best older sister he could ask for.
Groomsman
Clarke and Connor met in their first year of undergrad at UT Austin. They ended up in the same student org and really bonded during E-Week, a ridiculous week of activities and mischief helping students take a break from exams. After school, Clarke and Connor ended up in Seattle and became regular concert goers seeing the likes of Odesza, Yellow Claw, Clean Bandit and many others together. Then Connor made the risky life choice of moving in with Clarke and Garrett, taking shenanigans to another level. These days you’ll find Clarke and Connor regularly bonding over music, whiskey, and Texas bbq.
Bridesmaid
Tara and Allison briefly met when Allison first moved to Seattle. A year later, Allison welcomed Tara to the city over Nacho Borracho to find they had many mutual friends and a mutual love for tacos and slushies. Here began the Tara + Allison clock, where sending each other memes and laughing uncontrollably is at 9am, happy hour is at 4pm, dinner and life catch-up at Momiji is at 6pm, scream-singing Mr. Brightside at a concert is anytime after dark until 6am - rinse and repeat. All unscheduled time is filled with shenanigans you'll see bits of at the wedding!
Groomsman
When Evan and Jeongmin moved into their new house a year and a half ago, they were excited, and more than a little anxious, to meet the new neighbors. Fortunately, it turned out to be Connor and Allison! Evan and Connor started to grow close over a mutual fondness of good IPAs, Daft Punk, and the knowledge that January 25th is the best birthday ever. With more than a few house parties, wine tastings, and home improvement projects under their belt, Evan has become an indespensible part of the Weins/Sitzes real estate joint venture. Evan and Connor can usually be found at the other's house, with a beer in hand and enjoying their partners' amazing cooking.
Bridesman
Tyreke met Allison almost immediately upon their arrival to Harvard and the two have been inseparable since, sticking together for 24 hour trips to New York, late nights finishing math projects, Frappy Hours every midterm and finals periods, and general shenanigans like snow photo shoots or midnight trips to outlets. They share an unbreakable love for concerts (Tyreke was there for Allison's very first concert ever - Ke$ha) and they aren't afraid to get sleazy on the dancefloor. If you ever need to find them, just look for the duo randomly shouting a lyric and the other immediately shouting the next lyric back.
Groomsman
Garrett and Connor met at UT Austin, kicking off their friendship by winning the E-week cup for their student org with Clarke and others. After working and playing video games together in the IEEE office, they both ended up in Seattle working for Microsoft. Their friendship really grew when Connor moved into the house with him and Clarke, bonding over a love of eclectic indie music, delicious hot sauce, and the amazing coffee that Garrett would make on the weekends. Garrett taught Connor many life lessons - where to find the best coffee in the city, the joy of the Microsoft footlong sandwich when bulking, and how to tell if Allison is into you.
Bridesmaid
Vivien and Allison met in high school and each had that "je ne sais quoi" that drew them together...maybe it was the fact that they met during French class. Fast friends from the start, their friendship spans over a decade and over many miles and timezones, from growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles to visiting each other in Boston, Seattle, and now Cincinnati where Vivien is working on an MD/PhD (Allison is incredibly proud of Vivien and shares this tidbit whenever she can).
