As Connor was getting ready to enter his final semester at ASU, Allison had just completed her first year of her doctoral program in Flagstaff. They were introduced to each other by mutual friends at their favorite bar in Tempe, named CASA. Allison was dating someone back in Flagstaff, so to help fend off advances from other guys, Connor pretended to be said boyfriend for the night. Nine months later, both single, they ran into each other again while out with friends. They exchanged numbers and the rest is history. They've been together ever since and eventually named their dog after the 'Buckets' they were drinking at CASA the first night they met.

Traveling together has been such an integral part of Allison and Connor's relationship since they first started dating. They've had adventures all over the world, including places like Belize, Germany, Iceland and many more. Their most recent adventure took them to the ancient city of Chiang Mai, Thailand where Connor popped the question in front of a beautiful temple. Connor will tell you that he had an eloquent speech planned out about spending their lives together and continuing to travel the world; but he was so nervous he's not even sure he strung a full sentence together. She understood, nonetheless, and emphatically said YES!
