FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony officially beings at 4:30 PM CT. We suggest arriving no later than 4:15 PM CT (or earlier) so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in.

Question

What if I arrived late to the ceremony?

Answer

It happens! But please wait at the end of the driveway until the processional is finished to take your seat.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Staying at the Hyatt? We've reserved shuttle service for the entire night to and from! Make sure to sign up for a shuttle time at the front desk. Driving yourself? It's less than a 5 minutes drive from the ceremony and there is a large parking lot right across the street from the ceremony site - Chestnut Street South lot.

Question

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is ____.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope you'll show up and show out in semi-formal attire. Warning: The reception area is majority gravel/grass, so please be sure to wear appropriate shoes. Ladies - I would suggest not wearing shoes with a skinny heel to prevent "sinking" into the grass.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Weddings are a special and personal day for all family and friends. Only the name(s) addressed on the invitation are formally invited to our celebration. We will not have open seating, so know we won't be able to accommodate any "wedding crashers".

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we love your kiddos, we have decided that our special day will be adult-only. Please take this opportunity to enjoy your evening kid-free! Thank you for understanding.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We plan to provide a variety of beer, wine, seltzers, and two signature drinks (as well as non-alcoholic options). Drink responsibly!

Question

What time is the party over?

Answer

We will wrap up the official party at 10:00 PM CT, but don't let that stop you from hitting the downtown watering holes!

Question

Will seating be open?

Answer

Ceremony: Yes. We just ask you to keep the front rows open for immediate family. Reception: No. We have carefully arranged our friends and family in certain seats to save on space. Please see the seating chart prior to sitting down - your name will be at your seat!

Question

Can I take videos or photos?

Answer

We love that you want to help capture our day! We only ask that you do not use your phones during the ceremony. We have paid a pretty penny for a videographer and photographer, so please let them capture the moment! We would hate to have photos flooded with phones in the air or covering your beautiful face! Promise there will be plenty of time for photos later :)

For all the days along the way
