Will and Chris grew up in the same hometown, but met in college and quickly became like brothers. Both moved to Southern California after graduating where Will found success in Hollywood, and Chris mainly learned how to surf in San Diego.

Allie’s cousin, and one of her closest relatives. They have stayed in touch over the years in support of each other’s moves through college, to different cities, and in pursuit of meaningful volunteer opportunities.

Shawn and Chris were born as cousins, but have grown close over the years to become like brothers. Shawn has been living at the Delaware beaches since he graduated from University of Delaware, where Chris also attended.

Close friends since they were kids and constant hiking companions as adults, this continues a family tradition: Kristin’s dad (Steve) and Allie’s dad (Mark) have been besties since 7th grade and were each other’s Best Man in their weddings!

Adnan and Chris were an inevitable friendship. Adnan’s wife, Kristin, and Allie are lifelong friends so it’s no surprise that they would hit it off. Adnan also grew up in San Diego, one of Chris’ favorite places on earth.

Allie and Sara met in freshman English class at SF State, and immediately bonded over a love of wine, good food and travel. They lived together in the city for a year before studying abroad on separate continents, and have remained close friends (and frequent travel companions) for more than 15 years.

Chris and Chris both grew up back east in different states but eventually met in San Diego and bonded quickly over mutual interests in surfing, cooking, camping, fishing, music, and design/build construction work.

Carpool buddies through elementary and middle school, Laura and Allie have many shared experiences: Harry Potter book release parties, Boy Meets World episode marathons, driver’s ed, lots of Vegas trips, and many other adventures together over 2+ decades of friendship. Allie was also Laura’s Maid of Honor in her wedding!

Mel and Chris joined each other in moving to San Diego after Chris graduated college back east. Many adventures followed as we found our way in a new city and the companionship ran deep.

Allie and Kate played soccer together as kids, but really bonded after high school on their Senior Trip to Hawaii and through countless adventures: San Francisco bar crawls, Colorado college visits, Danville lifeguarding, Hawaiian weddings, and fish-foot massages in Thailand.

Lucas and Chris went to the same high school, but bonded more in our college years. They were roommates in the dorms and had many adventures that involved craft beer, frisbees, and unicycles.

Three weeks after meeting as lifeguards at the SF State pool, Megan invited Allie to Seattle for her uncle’s 40th birthday party… and enduring memories were made. They’ve been close friends, half marathon teammates, frequent Tahoe road trippers, and Veuve Cliquot fanatics ever since.

Adam and Chris have a history that dates back to the Cub Scouts. Friends through high school while together in the music program, and then on through University of Delaware, Chris and Adam found many adventures of the years.
