We're excited to share our local hangs with you. Check out a few of our favorites below---
Windsor Castle Park

Windsor Castle Park

705 Cedar Street, Smithfield, VA 23430
, (757) 542-3109

Hike the nearly 3 mile Windsor Castle trail in historic Smithfield, partly along the shoreline, past a vineyard and over low hills and bridges through the forest, also with weekend kayak rentals, and finish with a meal and a brew up in town at Wharf Hill Brewpub. Can you say PERFECT afternoon?

Colonial Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg

W Duke of Gloucester Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185
, (757) 229-4386

A great day trip destination and always a favorite family tradition. And, don't forget to stop by Merchant Square where you'll find Wythe Candy Shop for the best hand-dipped caramel apples in the land! YUM YUM!

Oozlefinch Beers & Blending

Oozlefinch Beers & Blending

81 Patch Road, Hampton, VA 23651
, (757) 224-7042

How does the old saying go? Something Old, Something Borrowed, Something New, Something Brewed? Corney, we know- but this place is the exact opposite. Oozlefinch is actually a very cool brewery that sits aboard the old Fort Monroe Army Base. It is located on the Hampton river. You can kayak or paddle board up, cross the street and you're there! Like its hip mascot, the vibe is cool and casual with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure and try our favorite- the "Lady in White" hefeweizen (it's always delish!) and then maybe hike around the historical base or take in the museum tour (fascinating). There's much to learn and see and have fun while doing it. Cheers!

USS Wisconsin BB-64 / Nauticus

USS Wisconsin BB-64 / Nauticus

1 Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510
, (757) 664-1000

The Battleship Wisconsin is a former US Navy ship that served in WWII, the Korean War and the Gulf War. It was the nation's last battleship to fire its guns in combat and now serves as a museum and historical landmark right here in Hampton Roads. Pay her a visit- She won't disappoint!

Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Waterman's Surfside Grille

Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Waterman's Surfside Grille

Virginia Beach Boardwalk, Virginia Beach, VA

If you're up for a mini field trip (about a 40 minute drive), venture down to the VA Beach oceanfront where you can rent bikes and ride along the beautifully paved 3 mile boardwalk. And, if you're super adventurous, stop and treat yourself to a world famous Orange Crush at Waterman's Surfside Grille (although fair warning-- drink more than one, and you may not be able to drive a two-wheeler, let alone an automobile back to Suffolk :/....they are sneaky delicious AND POTENT).

Decoys Seafood and Blind Duck Tiki Bar

Decoys Seafood and Blind Duck Tiki Bar

3305 Ferry Road, Suffolk, VA 23435
, (757) 977-1081

This is one of our favorite local spots on the water. They have an awesome tiki bar that is always upbeat and super casual with pristine water views and sunsets. Live music is performed weekly by the areas best known artists and old friends, which 100% guarantees to always be a good time. Oh and ps-for the ultimate sunbather/party-goer extraordinaire, they also have a swim up bar, so swimsuits and flip-flops are not only acceptable, but encouraged. Woop woop!

For all the days along the way
