FAQs

Question

What are you doing to prepare for a wedding during COVID-19?

Answer

Areas of the U.S. are seeing an increased number of COVID-19 cases due to the delta variant. This variant is highly transmissible from the unvaccinated. To protect all of our guests, our wedding will be a vaccinated only event. We ask that you not attend if unvaccinated. Please bring proof of vaccination, such as a picture of your vaccination card, to the venue. This will be required for entry. When travelling, we recommend wearing your mask at all times, even when in the airport, and limit eating and drinking in indoor venues.

Question

Why Minneapolis?

Answer

Ah... the question we have answered 100 times. Well, our families are from Pennsylvania, Texas, Missouri, and New Mexico. Our friends span further to both coasts and everything in between. With that in mind, we searched for large cities with easy travel. We fell in love with our venue and hope you do too!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We request that you wear black, formal wedding attire. For men, black tie (tuxes) not required. For women, black cocktail, floor length dresses, or suits. Please save costumes for our Welcome Event on Friday. The ceremony and reception will all be indoors.

Question

Where will you go when the volcano blows?

Answer

I don't know.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask for a 21+ evening, so please make any required arrangements for children.

Question

Should I plan transportation to the venue?

Answer

We highly recommend Uber or Lyft for transportation between the hotel and venue. If you choose to drive, there are paid parking garages on the same block as Aria. Please do not drink and drive. If you need a ride, please ask and we will get you home safe.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please arrive by 3:45pm.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We will have a 2021 hotel block at The Marquette. In November, we will add a new link on this website under 'Getting to Minneapolis' to leverage the wedding rate.
