We met one summer evening on Park Lane Street. Jason had moved in across the street from my childhood home. While attending a bonfire at the neighbors house, I noticed a sweet little kiddo peeking over the backyard fence. Intrigued by this unique visitor we invited Eli and Jason over to enjoy the evening. Jason and I immediately bonded over similar interests and single parenthood. Our friendship and partnership blossomed from that point on.

Christmas Morning 2020, with wrappers and toys strewn everywhere, Jason got on one knee and asked me to be his partner in love and in life. Of course the answer was, “Yes!” Heck, if we can survive 2020, we can survive anything!
