In the chilly embrace of Winter 2014, Allie was on the brink of graduation at UVM in Vermont, while Garry was making his mark in New York with Farm2Me. Their paths crossed one fateful night on a dating app, leading to hours-long phone conversations until the early hours of the morning. Yet, despite the connection, the timing and distance kept them apart. Over the next 7 years, they exchanged only a handful of conversations, including a memorable moment in 2015 when Allie inadvertently pitched hosting a Farm2Me event at her WeWork to Garry. But fate wasn't quite ready for them to meet. Fast forward to May 2020, amidst a global pandemic, Garry took a chance by commenting on Allie's Instagram photo, reigniting their connection. Quarantined and missing human interaction, they finally decided it was time to meet face-to-face. Garry visited NYC, and from that moment on, they hit it off, cooking dinner together and taking long walks all over the city. Just two days after their first meeting, Allie lost her job, prompting Garry to propose a spontaneous cross-country road trip. Despite the uncertainty, Allie agreed, and within a week, they embarked on a 3 month journey to California and back. Four road trips and one furry companion later, the rest is history!
