When I book my hotel, is there a discount for your party?

Answer

If you are booking at the Hotel Indigo we will have a discount code we will share by June 14, 2022 that will be valid for the dates of May 25, 2023- May 28, 2023

What time should I arrive at Hummingbird on May 27, 2023?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive promptly at 6 pm EST! A) The bar will be open B) Doug and I (along with our immediate families) will be joining you all immediately following the exchanging of our vows at the Washington, D.C. Courthouse. We would love to see all of your faces upon our arrival!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids but we want the adults to enjoy that open bar all night long (until 11 pm when they kick us out). Thank you for making this an adult only event!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please notify us if you have dietary restrictions or allergies that need to be accommodated.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking around the venue, however, if you’re staying at Hotel Indigo you will not need to worry about transportation. Hummingbird is connected to Hotel Indigo!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Doug and I will be wearing cocktail attire.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying at the Hotel Indigo then transportation is not necessary. If you have made other arrangements then we would recommend Lyft, Uber, or Taxi.
