What health and safety measures, regarding COVID-19, will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We please ask that all our guests be fully vaccinated with booster(s), and tested for COVID before the event. Since you are all our loved ones, your health and safety are our #1 concern. Many of you are either older in age but still kids at heart, or are too young to even receive the vaccine. We want to ensure that everyone feels like they are in a safe environment so that we can all have the best, worry-free time! Masks are not required but are optional if you'd like to wear one. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and if you have any concerns/questions, please reach out to us!

What shoes should I wear?

Wear (or bring) shoes that are comfortable and appropriate for your semi-formal attire; keep in mind that the ceremony is on grass!

Where do I go?

We recommend parking in the giant lot at the back end of the Harbor Village, and on your right, you will see a sign at the garden's gate!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Seating for the ceremony will start at 3:30PM and the official ceremony will start at 4PM. Please plan to arrive early to make room for potential traffic. We know...we know...it's a Friday.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi formal - Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Wear (or bring) shoes that are comfortable and appropriate for your semi-formal attire; keep in mind that the ceremony is on grass!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in HMB is in the heart of Summer. It is the coast so we'll be expecting highs around 67°F and lows around 55°F. If you get easily cold (like Alli), we'd recommend you bring a light sweater/shall/jacket.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a full dinner buffet style, late-night snacks, and plenty of desserts during the reception.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

You are welcome to stay at any hotel of your choice in the area, but we highly recommend that you stay at our venue site itself, the Oceano Hotel & Spa. To get a DISCOUNTED price via our room blocks, please CALL (650) 726-5400 and request to book a room under the "Han wedding". Certain room types are limited, but the most common option is priced at $279/night for a Deluxe Suite with 1 King or 2 Double beds. Feel free to inquire on other room options that best suit you.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience as well as card cage for monetary gifts.

When will the reception end?

Answer

The event will end after the last dance at 11PM.
