It all started 10-years ago when Alli met Joe and Carol, Austen's parents, at a conference in California. After a few glasses of wine and hearing Carol gush over her son graduating from college, Alli offered to pass along Austen’s resume. The wine-infused confidence actually turned into an interview and a job for the fresh engineer! Fast forward 7 years later, Austen and Alli both ended up in Houston working for the same business unit. Austen happily made himself comfortable in the friendzone, until Alli realized he is the kindest, most supportive man and exactly what she needed in her life - the rest is history!
