The closest airport to our venue is going to be the Reno Tahoe International Airport. From here, it is about a 45 minute drive up to the lake, so you'll likely want to rent a car.

Sacramento International Airport
You could also consider flying into the Sacramento International Airport if flights are cheaper. It would be about a 2 hour drive to Tahoe from here.

North Lake Tahoe Express
I would recommend renting a car, as Lake Tahoe is located about 35 miles southwest of Reno and doesn't offer public transit. That said, you do have the option of taking a shuttle with North Lake Tahoe Express to the lake from the airport.

This hotel is just 1.5 miles from the wedding venue and is one of Tahoe's most historic sites. Originally establishment in 1946, it has hosted an impressive amount of famous celebrities including Phyllis Diller and Regis Philbin. This hotel is also on the more affordable side but does have a vintage feel.

Only 2 miles from the wedding venue, this resort offers a variety of stay options and fairly inexpensive in comparison to other options on the lake.

This hotel is water front and is going to be your most up-scale option on the North side of the lake. Beautiful place to stay, but does come at a cost.

Lake Tahoe is home to many rental cabins to host guests throughout the summer. I would recommend looking into this, and possibly finding other wedding guests to occupy the house with.
