Welcome to our Happily Ever After

In a small college town, two juniors at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point "swiped right ." After messaging back and forth about our respective Wisconsin upbringings (Aliyah grew up in Central Wisconsin and Austin in Southeastern Wisconsin) we went on our first date to a coffee shop on a cold January afternoon. Austin walked up with a big smile and a colorful knit sweater that told Aliyah she didn't need to be nervous. Dates around campus allowed us to get to know each other over the spring semester. We knew it was something special and decided to take the leap of faith and remain long distance as Austin began his Army training over the summer. Fast forward another year to Aliyah's college graduation and she told her family she was moving to Georgia to be closer to Austin. After enduring multiple more training and deployments, 4 years of dating, a dog, a cat, and two moves...Austin proposed at a peaceful and intimate animal sanctuary in Georgia. Now we can't wait to start our happily ever after!
