We're Getting Married

We met on the dating app Hinge, in January 2021. We were still on Covid lockdown at the time, so our first date was on Zoom! Our second date was a socially-distanced and masked picnic, where we walked around a reservoir and talked for hours. Finally, we went inside together on our third date to watch Heathers: The Musical.

Daniel proposed to Alix on the Mediterranean Sea in Monterosso al Mare, Cinqueterre, Italy. He surprised her with a series of heartfelt handwritten cards. Kim took pictures and Lyla cheered while Alix said yes! Then, they all got gelato.

We love our many pets: our sweet dog Mushroom, cats Cirque du Soleil and Hilda, and an aquarium full of shrimp, fish, and snails. We love to hike and talk, cook and eat together, playing board games and camping when we can.
