FAQs

Question

What's the wedding dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal / dressy casual Aloha wear. Hot pink is suggested (by the bride). Fedoras are recommended for the reception (by the groom). Yep, that's a lot of words. And what does it mean exactly? Think summer suits and blazers with bright-colored dress shirts underneath. Dress slacks and Hawaiian shirts are great too! Cocktail dresses and sun dresses are recommended for the ladies - preferably in pink hues! Because Alissa isn't having bridesmaids, you don't need to worry about matching them if you wear hot pink - go for it! Just no shorts, flip-flops, or denim, please.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one or our kids?

Answer

Sadly no, because space is limited, we're unable to provide single guests with an extra plus-one. Only children of immediate family members are invited, as well. Please only RSVP for the number of guests written on your invitation.

Question

Will there be a dance party at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely!!! Bring your best dance moves.

Question

Can I bring a wrapped gift to the wedding?

Answer

We welcome all kinds of gifts! But because the bride and groom reside in Alaska (not Seattle), it may be more difficult for us to transport large gifts back home. Our online gift registries include an easy option to have gifts mailed directly to Ketchikan.
