Disney is celebrating their 50th anniversary during 2022 and rooms may fill up quicker than expected given that more people are resuming travel. If you plan to stay off-site, please make sure you still leave yourself plenty of time to make a reservation.
The host hotels are Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach Resort, and Pop Century Resort. Caribbean Beach Resort and Pop Century Resort both have a room block in place with discounted rates for your convenience. Ceremony transportation will pick guests up from each of these hotels.

No! We hate to beat a dead horse, but we can not stress this enough, please be to the transportation pick up location at the designated time...maybe even a little early! We have been warned that they will NOT wait for anyone. There are horror stories of guests missing in-park ceremonies because they missed the transportation pick up. Please don't let this happen to you, we would hate to miss any of your faces there!
With the reception ending at 3pm, we will have several hours to break before we reconvene for the dessert party that night. Please feel free to go back to your room and nap, take a swim, or even go to the parks for a bit! Just please make sure you are at the meeting spot at Epcot by the designated time so we can be led to our private viewing location in the park.
No! No park tickets will be required to attend any of our wedding events. For the ceremony all guests will be driven backstage the morning of since it is before park opening. For the dessert party, you still will not need a park ticket, but you will need to arrive at the designated meeting spot at Epcot. At that time, we will have a park guide meet us and lead us through the park to the dessert party location. However, if you do not have a park ticket, and you are late to the meeting spot for the dessert party, you will be unable to attend.
Yes! Please make sure you have your ID with you. Due to the backstage nature of the event, they may check ID's when people board transportation for the ceremony.
No! Dinner will not be served, so make sure you don't come starving. However, there will be lite bites and desserts served, so please come with your appetite.
Lost? Confused? Can't find your pants? If you encounter any of these issues the day of the wedding please contact anyone but the bride! We recommend reaching out to our Flower Lady, Allison, or the Mother of the Bride, Julianna. We will be sure to provide both of their contact information closer to the event.
We love that you also want to capture the day, but respectfully ask that you don't. We prefer an unplugged ceremony where everyone can put down their phone and camera and be in the moment. We are paying for professional photographers and videographers, so leave that to them! It's easier for them to do their job if they don't have people holding cell phones in the way. We will be more than happy to circulate photos once we receive them.
