While we recommend trying some of their funkier flavours, you can't come here without getting their famous fried chicken and donut combo. They also have locations all over Philly, so you can always make a pit stop while exploring.
You could spend days trying to see everything in here, so why not start now? Make sure you listen to the Rocky soundtrack as you walk (or run!) up the famous stairs to get the full experience.
Whether you're hungry or not, come wander around one of the oldest and largest public markets in the country. Fair warning, it gets super crowded! And, if you've got a sweet tooth, we highly recommend stopping at Sweet T's (the first Black-owned bakery in the market) for their snack-sized 3 inch pies.
Philly is home to some beautiful public art. You can book a tour with a guide, or you can download the same self-guided walking map we followed here: https://www.muralarts.org/self-guided/. Of course, this list is far from exhaustive and not all public art (and artists) get treated the same - keep your eyes peeled because we've also seen other thought-provoking pieces all over the city!
