Both hotel blocks allow pets. If you choose to use this hotel from our block, please inform them of your intent to bring your fur baby. Please do not bring your pet(s) to the wedding event.
The ducks and alpacas are very sweet company at Candies Creek Farm. However, our venue host asks that we don’t harass the animals or leave children unattended with them. Please do not chase the ducks. Please do not attempt to swim with the ducks.
Yes. There will be designated smoking areas that will be labeled as such. Please do NOT throw your cigarette butts. Not only is this dangerous for the ducks that live there, but it is also tedious to clean up. Vaping is not allowed inside the venue. Smoke detectors inside are very sensitive, and will be set off. Please step outside and away from entryways.
Out of respect for other guests attending, we ask that you test negative prior to the wedding. If you are feeling ill, please stay home. If you are concerned about illness, feel free to wear a mask to the event (you don’t have to).
We will have contact information for taxi services in the area available for those that wish to party freely. Uber is scarce in the area, so keep that in mind. Should you need a safe ride home, and no other options are available, please don’t be afraid to ask for a ride. We want everyone to have fun, and get home safely.
Ceremony will begin at 3:30 in the afternoon. Take traffic, parking, and getting seated into account when planning. We request that everyone arrives at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure a seamless start time. Should you arrive late for the ceremony, please do not interrupt the procession to be seated. Wait until everyone has walked, and quietly find a seat.
Of course! We only ask that you keep an eye on your children. Candies Creek Farm is a large space. To avoid injury or wandering off, please be mindful of their whereabouts. Entertainment bags will be available for the younger kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring them along so we can make sure there are enough.
We imagine everyone will be exhausted at the end of the day. However, we plan to meet for brunch somewhere the next day. If you wish to join us for this, please let us know.
We will be serving alcohol. If you are under the legal drinking age in the United States (21 years of age), you cannot drink at this event. If you have nonalcoholic option requests, please feel free to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. *Please do not bring your own “party” to the venue. This includes alcohol and other substances.*
“It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing!” We will have plenty of other entertainment options, including: -Cornhole -Giant Jenga -Ring Toss -Fireplace with S’mores Station -Selfie Station Don’t worry, just relax and have fun!
If you’re worried about matching our parties, consider avoiding solid gold or taupe. However, we will ensure that our wedding parties have something that sets them apart. So, don’t let that hinder you! And, of course, don’t wear white unless you’re the bride. ;)
There is a parking lot on site, and the venue host will be guiding parking for the event. Please be mindful of others. Use only one parking space. Be careful when opening car doors.
If for some reason you need to arrive early for the event, please do not enter the event space. (Unless otherwise invited) The bride and groom will already have a lot happening, and though they’re excited to see you, it can certainly wait until after the ceremony.
Last call will be at 9:30 p.m. Unless you intend to stay and help with cleaning up, please plan to leave no later than 10:15 p.m.

Our venue is an indoor/outdoor space. Both ceremony and reception will take place, rain or shine. In the unlikely event of inclement weather, we will post updates to our website.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue exact numbers by a certain date. While we will send out reminders, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.
Due to very limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, there will be a place to confirm your additional guest when you RSVP. If you don't, please respect our wishes as we're trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible.
