Alie Version: We met in the Summer of 2008. August 2008. My Matron of Honor Amy called me one afternoon asking if I would like to go to Service with her. Ambiguous because all my life i have gone to a catholic church I agreed to be open minded. Danny was Ushering at the time he caught my eye. I'm pretty sure the feeling was mutual since he some how later that night found himself at our family table at Mimis Cafe. A couple of after service dinners he finally asked me out to Minx. Little did I know our first date consist of meeting all his friends and family. After a great night of dinner and dancing. He walked me to the door gave me a kiss good night and i quote "You're Going To Fall in Love with Me". I didn't know whether to run or stay. Well 13 years later we all know the answer.

Danny Version: How I Met Alie: The Right Version (According to Danny) Many moons ago, I used to usher at Action Faith. I remember seeing this beautiful red head girl that caught my attention at first sight. I didn’t know who she was there with at first but she was sitting towards the back. Come to find out from Sal Hernandez that she is single (so at that point I knew she was with them). Nothing happened that night but she went to service again. That time after service, her family went to eat at Mimi’s Cafe and somehow I tagged along with my cousin Carlos. Come another week, I invited her to coffee and she said she was going to eat at Denny’s with her family. So I decided to join them and left Melissa ( My Sister ) in the car waiting for me which didn’t complain. Fast forward a week or so, I invited Alie to a friends birthday dinner at Minx. To my surprise, she said yes. Of course, me being the last minute type, I didn’t confirm the date until the day of the event. We go to the dinner and Minx use to be a club after where we dance the night away (by the way, I’m not a good dancer, I’m surprised she really didn’t notice). I legally wasn’t able to buy her a drink because it was 4 days before my 21st Birthday . That didn’t seem to faze her. As we pull up to her house about 2:30-3 AM, I lean over to kiss her and I tell her “ you’re going to fall in love with me”. She seemed surprised and i thought I scared her off. Till this day, those words have never been truer.
