Joe and Alicia's love story began at Calvary Chapel Church, where they both attended the Tuesday night Bible study. Although they had been attending for several months, they had never crossed paths until September. It wasn't until they started talking as friends for a few weeks that things really started to take off. Alicia asked Joe out on an ice cream date via Instagram, and they quickly hit it off. Joe then took Alicia on a shooting date, where they bonded over their shared love for the outdoors. Soon after, she introduced him to her horses and they quickly became inseparable. From that moment on, their connection grew fast and it was pretty clear that they would end up together.

Joe and Alicia knew right away that God had brought them together to become one. Joe, with the help of Alicia's friend Carina, planned a special surprise for Alicia just a few hours before her 25th birthday celebration. He took her to Hibernia Park, where he had set up a beautiful scene with three dozen roses and had a custom-designed ring to propose with. With Chamber's Lake as their backdrop, he asked Alicia to be his wife, and without any hesitation, she said yes! Both of them are overjoyed to start their new life together as husband and wife and are excited to celebrate their love with their family and friends on their wedding day!
