One of our favorite activities in Houston is visiting Memorial Park and walking the trail (3-mile loop). There is also a public golf course, a driving range, and tennis courts at Memorial Park, but reservations have to be made ahead of time. Beck's Prime is located at the park and would be a fun spot to grab lunch after a walk. Memorial Park is only a few miles from the Omni, and you can drive and park on-site (we park by the tennis courts), or request a ride from the Omni shuttle if you are staying in the room block.
The Rustic is a casual restaurant that has live music (1 mile from the Omni). They offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Their hours are: Friday 11 AM – 1 AM Saturday 10 AM – 1 AM Sunday 10 AM – 10 PM
We highly recommend visiting East River 9, a par-three golf course that also has pickleball courts, a restaurant, and a bar. Reservations can be made on their website. Their hours for golf and pickleball are: Friday 7 AM – 9 PM Saturday 7 AM – 9 PM Sunday 7 AM – 9 PM
The Home Run Dugout, an indoor batting cage and restaurant, is a great option if you want to beat the heat. Reservations can be made on their website. Their hours are: Friday 10 AM – 2 AM Saturday 9 AM – 2 AM Sunday 9 AM – 12 AM
PopStroke is a Tiger Woods-designed mini golf course with 36-holes, a restaurant, and multiple bars. While it's a further drive (22 miles from the Omni), PopStroke could entertain your group for several hours. PopStroke does not take reservations (they operate on a first-come, first-served basis). Their hours are: Friday 10 AM – 12 AM Saturday 10 AM – 12 AM Sunday 10 AM – 11 PM (Restaurant opens at 11 AM)
