We met on the first day of 7th grade and secretly crushed on each other for years. We were both placed at the same table as strangers, with other strangers. Then Donovan just randomly blurted, "Well hi, I'm Donovan. D-O-N-O-V-A-N. With an A, don't spell it wrong". From there on it was a mix of awkward flirting and avoiding each other completely. Constantly getting in trouble for talking and touching too much in class, pretending we didn't know each other in PE, and never running into each other on the Monday night dances. After years of getting close in classes, gum wrapper rings, and a summer of Snapchatting daily, Donovan somehow talked me into admitting I loved him. From then on there was huge ups and huge downs. We watched each other grow tremendously and figured out how to also incorporate that change in the relationship. 7th grade was far gone as we went to formal, went to prom, graduated, moved in together, welcomed Liam, finally got engaged, and figured out this whole life thing together. Now I guess the two of us could not be more married than we already feel except by getting it legal. So, it's time for this big party (;
