We're getting married!

You may know by now that we have decided to get married! We hope you are as excited about this as we are, & we would love to share this excitement with you as we build this future together. You may be wondering "where is my wedding invitation"? The reason why you're reading this message instead of a traditional wedding invitation or "save the date" card is because we have decided to have a small intimate wedding with just our parents and two grandmothers. The more we discussed it, a traditional wedding just didn't feel like the right kind of celebration for us. In light of the pandemic & for several reasons, a smaller wedding suits our vision. I hope sometime soon, or after our wedding, we can all get together and celebrate our union! You, all of our family & friends, mean a lot to us - and we're so excited to be taking this step and look forward to sharing this joy with you soon! Leah and Ali met at Ali's good friends (Dan and Jordan)'s Halloween party in 2015. Leah attended with a few of her girl friends from Pacifica (Michelle and Jen). Leah was dressed as Ariana Grande, complete with cat ears and a fake donut (you know... when Ariana Grade licked a row of donuts at a donut shop!?). Not long after arriving, Ali, dressed in a tux with a red bow tie, holding a look alike doll stopped her to talk. Ali was a ventriloquist. This was the first time Ali and Leah met. At first, the doll creeped Leah out but as the night went on Leah started holding the doll and ended up carrying the doll around. As the party started to wind down, a few people moved the party to Ali's house where Ali and Leah shared their first kiss in Ali's kitchen. The following night Ali and Leah had their first date at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay which sparked several more dates and a love that continues to grow as each day paces.
