Planes, Trains and Automobiles

Lainston House is a 5 - 10 minute cab ride from the city of Winchester. Winchester is easily accessible by train from central London (Waterloo Station) or via cab/car service. London Heathrow is the closest airport (~1 hour) with direct flights from the US. If you are coming from / going elsewhere in the UK or continental Europe, Southampton Airport is a closer option (half hour). If you prefer to take a car service, we recommend either Addison Lee, WinTax, or Wessex Cars. Train from London Heathrow: Cab/car service are most direct. But you can take a train.
