We met online and quickly traded numbers which led to 3 days of non stop sarcastic texting, Oakley pictures, jokes and eventually a lunch date in Manhattan. Alexis couldn't shut her mouth as she was so nervous but Rob stayed cute and quiet which we all know did not last (at least the quiet part)! After another 3 hour lunch date in Central Park where we both housed Italian Hero's and laughed at ice skaters falling on the ice, we planned to meet in Astoria, Queens where Alexis lived, for a third date in which Alexis overslept and greeted Rob in her Pajamas.....nonetheless Rob stuck around and here we are! Moral of the story: Its not the early bird who gets the worm, its the one who sleeps in and has cute pajamas :)

This is the story of how a Beautiful Clean Freak became Betrothed to a Handsome Chatterbox. A few years ago, Robert and Alexis were staying at the Lenz Cottage and took a boozy walk through the vines with a bottle of champagne. Robert, ever the photographer, got down on one knee.....on not one, but TWO occasions to take a photo , not realizing that Alexis thought he was proposing. Once she realized the farce, Alexis stomped back to the cottage giving Robert the look of death taking the champagne with her. Robert wondered what he had done wrong? " Gee...I was just trying to get a picture of the sunset...." He thought. Fast Forward to 3 years later, It was at this same location that Robert proposed.....with a real ring...... but this time Alexis was ready. "WHAT IS THAT?!?!" she exclaimed as she spat out the grapes she knew she wasn't supposed to be eating off the vine. "Baby, will you......" Rob nervously stuttered as Alexis quickly snatched the Beautiful Rose Gold ring from its handmade wooden box and put it on.....not allowing Robert to finish his ask or put the ring on his future bride. "Oh my god! She cried as tears ran down her face "....you have 30 seconds to take this back!" the emotional wreck of a girl screamed..... But he didn't take it back and Alexis cried tears of joy in the arms of the man she would spend the rest of her life with........ THE END. :)
