Alexis and Nick met at the beginning of the summer of 2021. They first met through mutual friends on a boat at F-Cove in Brick. After chatting for a bit, they felt an instant connection and their friendship began. Over the next couple of years, their paths continued to cross at social events with their friends. Slowly, they got to know each other better through these encounters. Lex found Nick to be a charming and funny person. She especially enjoyed watching him grab the karaoke mic at parties to sing Shania Twain. Nick admired Lex and her personality; he thought she was a genuine person and liked everything about her. Fast forward to the beginning of summer 2023, and the unexpected happens. Alexis and Nick started to explore a romantic relationship. On their first date, they went to Taka in Asbury Park. They bonded over sushi and quickly realized they had a lot in common. Their values, goals, and interests aligned perfectly. The spark between them kept growing, and soon enough, they began dating. Since then, Alexis has moved in with Nick, and they’ve been inseparable. One of their biggest passions is traveling together and exploring new places, with Florida being one of their favorites. They also love going out with friends, enjoying dinner dates, taking the boat out, and going for daily walks around the neighborhood. Most of all, they simply cherish being in each other’s presence. Most of their nights are spent cuddling on the couch (with Luna, of course).

Nearly three years after meeting, Alexis and Nick now share a home with their beloved dog, Luna, and cherish their time together. As their lives became more intertwined, Nick knew that Lex was the one he wanted to take the next step with. A couple months prior, he asked her mother for her blessing and began planning the perfect proposal. Alexis and Nick had always dreamed of visiting Greece. After much planning and research, they booked the trip. Little did Lex know that this would turn out to be even more memorable than she had imagined. The day of the proposal was their anniversary. They celebrated by having dinner at a restaurant near where they were staying in Milos, Greece. Before dinner, Nick suggested a walk along the water to a distant pier. As they reached the end of the pier, Lex quickly realized this was no ordinary walk. With tears and smiles, she said yes to his proposal. This moment was a dream true.
