We met during a Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Umatilla back in 2016, probably sometime in Summer. We dated for a couple of months between September and December and spent all the holidays together. We were nearly inseparable. Nearly. It took a lot of twists and turns. Some wrong choices, and some right ones. But we found our way back to each other. All Glory to God for that. My wild and crazy is calmed by his cool and collected. Together we can do anything.
6 years is how long it took me to build up the courage to talk to him again. And I am so glad that I did. Granted I truly blame his gorgeous black lab, Liberty, for our reconnection. She was the boost to my courage. One day I knew he brought her to church, so I asked to pet her. He let me. But he kept quiet. I guess I didn't seem interested. Fast forward a few more months... I liked a picture on Facebook of Liberty, and then he sent me a few more in messenger and that was it. We talked about dating. We talked about how it wasn't a good idea... and then we talked about how it was impossible not too and that our love was more powerful then we wanted to admit. So here we are. 6 years later. Still madly in love with each other despite our differences, our separation, and despite our vastly different personalities. But hey, opposites attract! The world has never been so clear, so fun, and so bright!
Hopefully, he doesn't wait too long... I can't wait to tell the story!
