Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire- cocktail, midi, or floor length dresses for the ladies and suits for the men.

What do I do if a train has stopped traffic right before the venue?

Answer

Yes, this is a real thing! Please tell your Uber driver these same instructions, people have been stopped behind a train for over 2 hours. If a train is passing through or stopped: 1. Take a left on Humphries St SW (street before the tracks) 2. Right on Glenn St SW 3. Right on Northside Dr/Metropolitan Pkwy 4. Right on Wells St SW You will arrive with the venue (brick building adjacent to the Chevron) on your left and gravel parking lot on your right.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4:15pm, so we ask that you arrive no later than 4:00pm.

Question

If I happen to arrive after the ceremony begins, what should I do?

Answer

Due to the nature of the venue, there is no way to enter at the back, so once the ceremony begins a staff member will hold the door closed and ask that you remain on the staircase until an appropriate time.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, however it is limited. Please use the gravel lot, across the street from the Chevron gas station, marked with Ambient+ Studio signs, across the street from the venue. There will be a parking attendant to help direct you. Also, street parking along Wells Street is free and available to use. But parking is limited, so we suggest Uber or Lyft to drop you at the door.

I have arrived at Ambient + Studios, where do I go?

Answer

If you've just driven across some train tracks, or see a gravel parking lot and Chevron gas station, you've made it! There will signs, but walk in through the black door on the side of the brick building, up a flight of stairs to bring you to the ceremony space.

Should I plan for being outside?

Answer

Nope! Everything is inside to accommodate any type of weather.

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, it should be just you!

Answer

Yes! We have recommendations listed on our website under "Travel."

Answer
