We're Getting Married!

Our journey started at a college track meet. Michael was officiating while I was cheering for my teammates, as I was sidelined with an injury. At the time, he was training intensely, chasing his dream of qualifying for the Olympics. He had trained under my coach and knew a few of my teammates, so naturally, he wandered over to say hello. As everyone else warmed up, we found ourselves deep in conversation. The main topic of conversation? "If you could have any superpower, what would it be?" That question led to one of the easiest and most genuine conversations I’ve ever had. A day later, I got a message from him on Facebook asking if I wanted to go on a date. I was heading to Arizona for summer break the following week, so we decided to make the most of our time—three dates in one week. We talked for hours, laughed a lot, and knew there was something special between us. Seven years later, we’ve grown together in ways we never could have imagined, and we’re so excited for this next chapter—our future as husband and wife.
